Official repo vs forks
Forks such as blackletum/universal-modder carry the same description and appear in search. A fork is not necessarily unsafe, but it can lag behind or differ from the original, and an agent plugin runs commands on your machine. Every install command on this site points at rehan-remade/universal-modder; if a guide gives you a different account, compare it against the original first.

FAQ
Can I download Universal Modder as an .exe?
No. There is no standalone installer; it installs into an AI coding agent or as a Python CLI. Be wary of any site offering an executable download.
Can I use it commercially?
The toolkit is MIT licensed. That covers the toolkit, not the games you mod or the assets you generate; those have their own terms.
Where do I report bugs?
On the official repository’s issue tracker on GitHub.
Unofficial, independent guide. Not affiliated with the Universal Modder project, its maintainers (rehan-remade), fal, Anthropic or any game publisher. The official source is github.com/rehan-remade/universal-modder. We do not host game files, mods or decompiled code. Only mod games you own.
